Proposals will be considered for the following types of presentations:

Presenters are required to submit the actual presentation file prior to the conference so we may distribute handouts as needed, for post-event distribution and/or publication, and to ensure we have a working copy for the conference.

Speakers benefit from full access to all sessions and activities for the duration of the conference.

Online contest: win tickets to the Form Function Class web design conference!

Posted by PWDO on May 11, 2009 in Announcements

Here’s a chance to attend the Philippines’ first web design conference for free! All you have to do is spread the word about this event on your blog or favorite social media sites. The mechanics:

  1. Each online promotion corresponds to a number of raffle entries:
    • 1 blog post = 10 raffle entries
    • 1 microblog post = 1 raffle entry
  2. Each person can only have a maximum of 2 blog entries and 20 microblog posts. That’s a total of 40 possible raffle entries.
  3. A blog post is defined as a full-length article containing comprehensive information about the event, namely:
    • Event name: <form> function() & .class: the first Philippine web design conference
    • URL: http://formfunctionclass.com/
    • Date and time: July 10, 2009 from 8am to 5pm
    • Venue: Asian Institute of Management, Makati City
    • Schedule & speakers: (see website)
    • Sponsors: (see website)
    • Link to sponsorship packages
    • Event logo
    • Org logo
    • Link to mechanics of this raffle
  4. A microblog post is defined as a short update typically sent to Twitter, Plurk, or Facebook containing a link to http://formfunctionclass.com/. If you can accommodate extra information about the web design conference, no plus points, but we appreciate it! :)
  5. Compile all permalinks to your blog and microblog posts in a single email to info@webdesignph.org with the subject FFC2009 raffle. Entries without the subject line or sent multiple times will be disqualified.
    • Note: Please check if your microblog post has a permalink. For example, we strongly suggest you use the “Share Link” button in Facebook instead of the status update because it has a permalink we can verify. On Friendster status updates do not have permalinks so we cannot accept those because we cannot verify them.
    • Once we verify your entries, we will send a preliminary notice indicating how many valid raffle entries you have.
  6. Deadline for submissions us on June 26. Winners will be announced on July 3.
