Feel free to submit multiple presentations on different topics. You can also nominate speakers. Presenters can decide to present in English or in Filipino. PWDO will review talk proposals and be in touch once you’ve been selected.

Speaker Nominations and Proposals

Before submitting a talk, please try to include answers to the following questions:

  • How will your talk excite people?
  • Does your talk educate the audience?
  • What will you bring up in your talk that hasn’t been discussed in other conferences?

Proposals will be considered for the following types of presentations:

  • 25-minute mini-lecture
  • 1-hour presentation/lecture, including Q&A
  • 1.5-2-hour workshop or tutorial (these extended classes give participants hands-on, practical, in-depth guidance)

Presentations could be recorded for later broadcast in digital format. Presenters are required to submit the actual presentation file prior to the conference so we may distribute handouts as needed, for post-event distribution and/or publication, and to ensure we have a working copy for the conference.

Speakers’ Benefits

Speakers benefit from full access to all sessions and activities for the duration of the conference.

Speaker listing and company reference in the conference program and conference website and post-event distribution and/or publication.

Speakers are also invited to a private banquet with sponsors and with members of the organization committee.

I look forward to receiving your proposals on or before MARCH 12, 2010 at 11.59PM, Philippine time (GMT+8). Do try to send them in earlier though as we will continually fill in speakers’ slots.

Thank you.
